National Director of Insurance Sales at MFS Fund Distributors, Inc.

Jon P. Clement, CIMC, CIMA®, is the national director of insurance sales in the Dealer Relations team of MFS Fund Distributors, Inc., a subsidiary of MFS Investment Management® (MFS®). In this role, he is responsible for developing and enhancing MFS’ relationships with sales management teams at insurance partner firms.

Jon joined the firm in 2000 and most recently served as a divisional director, responsible for mutual fund, variable insurance trust and subadvised product sales through registered investment advisors, bank trust divisions and private banks in the southeastern United States. He was named to his current position in 2012. Prior to joining MFS, he was the southeast regional annuity sales manager for Hartford Life/Putnam Investments.

Jon earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut. He holds Series 6, 7 and 63 licenses from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), as well as the Certified Investment Management Consultant (CIMC) and Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designations.
